About The Director
My name is Dacia Rutske and I live in
Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have lived
in Albuquerque three and a half years.
I was born and raised in Alamogordo,
New Mexico but when I graduated high
school I joined the military for four years,
where I met my husband Jim. We have
traveled all over and we have now been
married for 10 wonderful years, and we
have two little boys (hence the need to
work with girls...haha).
When I moved back to New Mexico I
began immediately working with the
Miss America program, and have
always loved the pageant systems.
I deeply involved myself with the
program and then took on the Miss
America's Outstanding Teen as director
now just over 3 years. I have not ever
been in a pageant myself, so I have the
utmost respect for the contestants.
I have judged many pageants of all
kinds and I have a passion for these
programs and saw the need for
coaching in our state. So, here we are
with the New Mexico's Pageant Skills
and Prep School.
I am excited to grow this program to
develop a strong pageant base in
New Mexico and help these women,
young and mature to become the best
they can be!
